Transitional Housing Program

The ACF Transitional Housing Program is designed to help participants obtain and remain in transitional housing while developing skills and increasing income in order to achieve greater levels of self sufficiency.

Eligible participants must:

  • Must be homeless
  • Meet income guidelines
  • Currently be working
  • Be willing to work toward self-sufficiency

Persons who have experienced homelessness are in signficant need of vocational and-or employment training and support. Many are unemployed or underemployed, subsisting on public entitlements.  ACF Transitional Housing helps with rent assistance for up to two years, along with providing mentoring, case management, area agency referrals through collaboration and networking, and other services as needed.
