Ohio Help Me Grow Program

Scientific evidence strongly suggests that a child's success is significantly determined by the quality of nurturing in the first three years of life.  The goal of the Help Me Grow program is to assure that newborns, infants, and toddlers have the best possible start in life.

The Alliance for Children & Families is a provider for the Help Me Grow program.  In order to meet the program's goals Help Me Grow provides the following:

  • Home Visits to assess the health of children, newborn to three years old
  • Early identification of children with developmental disabilities
  • Up-to-date information on child health, development, early infant stimulation and growth promoting activities
  • Provision of child development curriculum
  • Coordinate screenings for health, hearing, vision, and overall development
  • Provide parents with information on social and emotional development that lays the foundation for school success

Help Me Grow's Home Visiting Program offers:

  • Help families with children ages 0-3 to develop goals for you & your children
  • Developmental screenings to help you keep track of what milestones your baby reaches!
  • Assistance with pre-employment skills, training, job search, and housing
  • Assistance finding and connecting with programs that met your needs, such as: help with utilities, food, clothing, etc.
  • Family support: to be with you every step of the way until you get the help you need.
